NONNA’S PASTA SAUCE
Nobody makes pasta like a Nonna, but we'll settle for second place! Our Pasta Sauce Seasoning instantly transforms crushed tomatoes into a delicious sauce to use on pasta, pizza or lasagna.
INGREDIENTS

Extra virgin olive oil

1 medium sized yellow onion

3 cloves of garlic, minced

28 ounce can crushed tomatoes

½ cup fresh basil, torn
-
½ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Regal Nonna's Sauce
INSTRUCTIONS

In a large saucepan, over medium-high heat, add 3 tablespoons of olive oil and heat until it begins to shimmer. Add the onions and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.

Add tomatoes, ½ cup water, fresh basil and parsley, and 2 tablespoons Regal Nonna Pasta Sauce Seasoning.

Bring everything to a boil briefly, then reduce the heat to simmer.

Cover the sauce and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
